Good evening, beloved -

It gives me the greatest possible pleasure to share with you the news that Lifepod, the podcast I’ve been dragging toward the light for something like half a year now, is now live, both at Transistor.fm and on your platform of choice. You can also find an RSS feed of Lifepod episodes here.

As the name implies, Lifepod is an attempt to extend the multi-threaded inquiry I began in Lifehouse into a medium that affords me a little more time and space. The conversations we’ll be having on the show are, as you’d expect, broadly about how we might go about surviving our time of climate-system collapse with dignity, care and the achievement of justice centered in everything we do. But I also hope that in time, the looser format will allow me to explore topics we didn’t have the space to get into in the book, or which seemed tangential to its central thrust but still feel as if they deserve a more considered look in. I’m super-excited by the possibilities.

I really hope you enjoy Lifepod, and find it of value. And as ever, please do get in touch if you should have feedback, suggestions for future guests, or anything else you’d want me to know about the show. I’ll see you on the airwaves!

superbest,

Like anything else of value, Lifepod is the outcome of a collective effort. Editing, audio engineering and production on the podcast are by Laurence Green. The typography and graphic design are by Mr Chris Lee of Tokyo, Japan. My eternal gratitude to Los Angeles “ecstatic black metal” band Agriculture, for permission to use excerpts from their song “Living Is Easy” as our theme music.
